The Korean Resource Center (KRC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to empower Korean American community, low-income immigrant and people of color communities through a holistic model that combines education, social services, and culture with effective community advocacy and organizing.

KRC’s main office is in Los Angeles. The Asian American and Latino population in Orange County has doubled over the past decade, but faces challenges in immigrant rights, access to health care and racial justice. KRC has had a base of community members commuting from Orange County for social services. KRC started engaging voters in Orange County and doing immigrant right education at every electoral cycle since 2006, and in 2012 reached out to 90,000 Korean Americans in Los Angeles and Orange counties through phone banking, precinct walking and mail. KRC and ally organizations engaged in community organizing for immigrant rights education through a full page advertisement in the Orange County Register in 2013 by engaging 5,474 small donors to raise $7,000 over six weeks, and the Fast for Families campaign in 2013 and 2014.

We are building on years of work in the region by opening an office in Orange County and engaging the community through services, education, civic participation and organizing. Please join us.
