Dear Summer Youth Empowerment 2008 Applicant,

thank you for applying! Your application was e-mailed to Yongho Kim, one of the program staff.

What's Next?

We will be contacting you in the next few days to schedule an interview. You can take a look at the interview schedule to get a rough idea.

The interview is planned to last about 20 minutes and we would like to talk about your family and your interests, as well as answering any questions you might have about our summer program.

There is nothing you need to bring. Your parent needs not participate in the interview, but if you would like her/him to be with you, that's ok. Your $50 participation fee is due only after being selected to participate in the program.

Hey Grace, what's up?
I just applied to the Korean Resource Center's Summer Youth Empowerment program. It's a 6-week summer program in L.A.'s K-Town for high school students, starting June 30th. They teach you about producing digital multimedia work, Korean American history, poongmul, kimchi making, and more. They even have an SAT I class included. Best of all, it only costs $50!
Let's hang out together at this program. You need to apply by May 16h. It's best to apply soon!
You can get more information and the application at the website http://krcla.org/en/syep or call them at 323-937-3718.
